Overall Progress: The A's

So to give a scope of what I'm working with here, every so often I will list of the games I own and my progress in them. The first update will be games beginning with A, they are as follows:
Aegis Wing:  awful; no desire to ever try and finish
Alan Wake - Completed main game, 3 dlc achievements to go, who knows if that will ever happen
Alien Hominid - 1 achievement short; unlikely to happen
All-Pro Football 2k8 - about half the achievements done, prob never gonna play again
Alone In The Dark - I've heard this is horrible, never even opened
Assassin's Creed - Completely finished; going back to get the last two flags was a chore
Assassin's Creed II - Completely finished; great game
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood - Single Player completed, need Multi-player and DLC achievements (if I buy DLC)
Assault Heroes - Probably as far as I will ever get/close enough for me
Avatar, James Cameron's - bought cheap, maybe someday I will get around to it

Game #2: Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes

Bought because it was a $5 target clearance game and played because I had to kill time before Gears Of War 3 came out, SWTCW:RH has been a decent time killer. The initial run through of the game went fine, but it has become tedious to get all the acheivements in this game. I currently stand at 33/49 achievements for a gamerscore of 630/1000. I feel I will eventually get this game to a 1000/1000 but it will take a while as I struggle to keep it up while playing other games.

Game #1: Gears Of War 3

Like most people with a 360, I purchased Gears Of War 3, the Limited Edition of Course. The game has been the only one I've played for a week now. I have finished my hardcore/collectible campaign run. Now  I have to do what I'm worst at and play the multi-player. I will just say I hate multi-player achievements because I don't have the time to get good enough at a game to be able to get them. Current achievement progress on the game stands at a gamerscore of 340/1000 which amounts to 27/50 achievements. Once I can find the time; I'll be sure to take care of the co-op and arcade achievements and be left with multiplayer, at which point I'll probably call it a day on the game

Point Of The Blog

The point of this blog will be to follow along as I attempt to take my massive backlog of games and bring it down  to a more reasonable number. Right now the number is much higher than I would prefer and encompasses more systems then I will go into. For now the blog will focus on my Xbox 360 games. If the number ever gets low enough I will start to include other systems.
